About Role:
This position is mainly responsible for daily logistics operations at ACE Hardware. The jobholder will support the Assistant Logistics Manager to ensure products arrive at the stores on time and in full (OTIF), including shipments from origin to store, store returns, and inventory control. Ensure proper coordination among all internal and external stakeholders, including buyers, global vendors, logistics companies, certification agencies (like SASO agents), warehouses, and government authorities. This coordination will ensure smooth shipment movement to various Middle East countries, including UAE, KSA, and Qatar. Make sure all documentation is accurate and complies with the government and customs rules and regulations of each specific country.
Responsibilities:
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- Manage & Monitor ACE Supply Chain & E-commerce Costs & Service Levels.
- Coordinate with the Planning team and suppliers to ensure smooth stock movement and proper documentation.
- Management of supply chain cost & service levels to ensure that they stay within budgeted levels for ACE.
- Keep Supply Chain Dashboard KPIs/SLAs within target levels.
- Prepare and maintain an accurate and up-to-date shipment tracker.
- Ensure proper documentation and support the Logistics Manager in creating SOPs for compliance.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and hold meetings to maintain good relationships and align with their expectations.
- Find ways to improve and make operations more efficient.
Requirements:
Here’s what you need to qualify:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Logistics.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in stock/inventory roles, with a preference for retail sector experience.
- Excellent data analysis & SAP skills.
- Analytical with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of Warehouse, Distribution, Customs & Cross Border Freight & 3PL Management.
